A waste transfer site that was until recently fully operational on a large plot of storage land in south Birmingham is up for sale with commercial property agency Bromwich Hardy.
24 Ebury Road in Kings Norton, which currently still holds a waste transfer licence, is on the market for offers based on £3 million.
Tom Bromwich, managing partner of Bromwich Hardy, explained that the 2.35-acre site has secure gated access from Tunnel Lane.
Mr Bromwich said: “This recycling plant which has B1 and B2 consent was until recently in operational use by a waste transfer company.
“The property has a solid concrete base and benefits from an open, lean-to building fitted with solar panels to the north.
“As well as the large open storage space, the front of the site has two temporary office buildings, with car parking.
“Depending on the new owner’s interest, there is even the potential for residential development, subject to planning permission.”
Ebury Road is located approximately five miles south Birmingham city centre and five miles north of Junction 2 of the M42 motorway, which provides easy access to the M5, M6 and M40.
Birmingham New Street and Birmingham International train stations are within five and ten miles respectively, while Kings Norton station provides local train services in the Cross City line to Bromsgrove, Redditch, Birmingham city centre, Sutton Coldfield and Lichfield.
