Sucham offers a taste of the future

09/02/2024

It’s great to see that construction work has been wrapped up at Sucham Park – a much-needed high-quality commercial development at Southam.

Bromwich Hardy is marketing the 42,200 sq ft site, and we’re delighted to say that more than half the available space has already been snapped up and there’s lots of interest in the remaining units.

That’s no surprise. This is a great development on a great site and in a great location.

The energy-efficient scheme features 10 electric vehicle charging points and roof-mounted solar panels. Meanwhile, a fabric first approach has been used to achieve high levels of air permeability and led the buildings to achieve an EPC rating of A.

It’s just the sort of small unit space which is so urgently needed to give companies the space to grow and thrive and create jobs for local people.

Bromwich Hardy founding partner Tom Bromwich said: “We’ve been calling for more commercial space across the region for some considerable time now, and Sucham Park fits the bill perfectly.

“It’s built to an excellent specification, units can be fitted out to suit needs and it’s really eco-friendly. The site sets the standards for the future with its impeccable green credentials and we’re seeing significant interest in the remaining units.”

Construction has been completed by Warwick-based MCS Group working on behalf of Warwickshire Property & Development Group. It’s WPDG’s first commercial scheme and Bromwich Hardy is honoured to have been appointed agents for it.

Rob Andrews, head of development at WPDG, said: “This is a major milestone for WPDG and we’re excited to be celebrating the completion of our first direct delivery project.

“In a little over a year we have transformed a vacant development site into an industrial scheme which is providing high-quality space for businesses of a range of sizes.

“It has been fantastic to partner with MCS to deliver this scheme on time and on budget, working with MCS has allowed us to ensure that the scheme’s economic benefit has stayed in the region at every stage of the process.

“There is a need across Warwickshire for high-quality small unit space to help businesses to stay, grow and thrive in the region. Sucham Park provides that space while also strengthening the industrial offer in Southam.”
