Tom Bromwich, managing partner of commercial property agents Bromwich Hardy, has been appointed a director of Coventry Rugby Club, the professional team which plays in the first tier league, Elior Champ Rugby.
He has been recruited by the club to boost Coventry Rugby’s commercial presence in Warwickshire and the wider Midlands.

“He shares our passion to build Coventry Rugby and understands the crucial impact that support off the field can have on our playing performance.
“His commercial knowledge and contacts will be invaluable in helping us target the financial support professional sport needs both to survive and to grow.”
Tom Bromwich said: “We have been involved with Coventry Rugby as sponsors over the past five years, and I have been impressed by the steps the club has taken at each stage of its growth to address the commercial realities of professional sport.
“Now The Champ league seems to have settled down, there is the opportunity to take Coventry on to the next stage of its growth.
“I said I would only consider the invitation to become a director if I felt I could add value, and after talking through Brett’s plans for the club, I am very pleased to be involved and will give the club my full support.”
Bromwich Hardy already has a strong reputation for community support across Warwickshire.
The Coventry-based business recently reaffirmed its support for the club, committing as main sponsors of Coventry Rugby for the 2026-27, joining principal sponsor, the law firm Lodders, and a host of other committed Midlands companies.
Tom Bromwich also sits as a trustee on the Coventry Rugby Community Foundation board, and is a key organiser of the Foundation’s annual business luncheon. The event has become a highly successful fixture in the calendar, raising significant funds for the Foundation each year and helping to support local community initiatives.
In April 2026, he was named “The Inspirational Individual – Businessperson of the Year” in the annual awards run by Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce.
He is chair of trustees of The Get-a-Head Charitable Trust, and through his business Bromwich Hardy supports local Warwickshire initiatives including Young People First and Warwick Relief in Need.
Established in 1874, Coventry Rugby Club is one of the sport’s legacy clubs and has produced a string of internationals including club president Peter Rossborough, David Duckham and Fran Cotton.
