Three shops in a Georgian era building in Royal Leamington Spa have been successfully sold for £815,000 via commercial property agency Bromwich Hardy.
The terraced units at 160-164 The Parade are currently let to an insurer, an antiques furniture store and a window blinds specialist for a combined rental income of £70,500 a year.
The properties were sold in a private deal between the vendor and purchaser, who both remain undisclosed.
Ed Bunbury, a partner at Bromwich Hardy, explained that the sale is the second one achieved by the firm on The Parade in the last few weeks, following the £1 million-plus sale of 9 The Parade last month.
Mr Bunbury said: “We’re pleased to have sold these three well-presented Georgian properties on what is Leamington’s premier retailing street.
“We are building up some real momentum is property sales on The Parade with plenty of investor interest in this highly affluent and picturesque spa town.”
160 The Parade is let to A Plan Insurance Group, 162 Parade is let to Hamesh Antique Furniture Ltd and 164 Parade is let to Reynolds Interiors Ltd.
Grace Beesley, of HCR Law in Leamington, provided legal advice to the vendor, while Kevin Jones, of Talbots Law in Stourbridge, acted for the purchaser.
Leamington has become an important commercial centre that hosts a wide range of specialist shops, major retailers, restaurants and bars, plus a large number of companies and organisations’ headquarters.
The town has a mainline train station with services to London and Birmingham, and has easy access to the M40, M6 and M69 motorways.
