Wood, which was formed by the merger of Wood Group and Amec Foster Wheeler Group in 2017, has moved from Leamington to 7,854 sq ft offices in Nicholls House on Tachbrook Park in Warwick.

Around 85 employees from its Environment and Infrastructure Solutions (E&IS) business are now occupying the first and second floors of the building which is owned by property development and investment company AC Lloyd, whose headquarters are on the ground floor. Wood has signed a ten-year lease for the premises after moving from Gables House in Leamington where the business was also a long-term tenant.

Adrian Shields, VP operations for the E&IS business in the UK, said the new base was well-matched to the growing needs of the business and its staff.

He said: “Wood operates in over 60 countries, employing around 60,000 people with world-wide revenues of $11 billion. We have offices throughout the UK, and in Warwickshire our work is focused on environmental consultancy, development planning and design.”

“We chose Nicholls House because of the high-quality office space with facilities that meet our needs, including two meeting rooms, showers and secure cycle storage for our staff who cycle to and from work. It also provides the capacity for us to grow further in future, so this has been an ideal move.”

Tom Bromwich of Bromwich Hardy who acted on behalf of the A C Lloyd Group in letting the building comments

“ This is a great letting and shows the attraction of Warwick and Leamington Spa as a business location with excellent communications – Tachbrook Park is a premier location with Nicholls House providing first class office accommodation “
