14/12/2018

As the new President of the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, David Penn will use his time in the post to solve one of the biggest issues facing the local economy, his priority being to ensure there is enough employment land for Coventry and Warwickshire’s economy to continue to grow.

He said: “This is a great time to become president of the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber, with so much going on in the region. There are exciting times ahead for our strong economy and I am passionate about the area and about business and the role it plays in making this region a great place to live and work.”

“That is why it is absolutely vital that we tackle the issue around the chronic shortage of employment land. The Chamber is the voice of business and we will make sure that our voice continues to be heard.

I am honoured to be taking up this prestigious position and proud to be following the footsteps of my grandfather, Sydney Penn, who was the first President of the Junior Chamber in Coventry in the 1930’s.”
